Sandvik Rock Processing Solutions is pleased to announce the appointment of Retec Equipment Limited as...
Having experienced the output and production capabilities of owning an existing Sandvik mobile jaw crusher, Balicrest Limited decided to upgrade their world-renowned QJ341 and purchase a new model. This jaw crusher offered many benefits for the customer in the demolition and recycling industry– unrivalled productivity, excellent support and service, and more importantly they had the flexibility to take the machine to any job site, no matter how limited the space may be. With the ease of mobility and quick set-up times, this enables the machine to be operational in no time at all after arrival on-site, all of which contribute to higher uptime.
Operating in London, Surrey, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire and surrounding areas, Balicrest Limited have 30 years’ experience in the demolition industry and are a family run company built on the ethos that they aim to recycle as much waste as possible. With the mission statement, ‘Provide high-quality, cost-effective, demolition and dismantling service to all our clients’, Balicrest required a reliable fleet of machinery to help support in delivering this mission. They chose to stick with performance leader, Sandvik Mobile Crushers and Screens.
Balicrest undertakes a wide variety of different demolition projects ranging from single-storEy structures to large commercial and industrial buildings. As a company, they have strict procedures which are implemented on-site to follow regulations and legislation, which match Sandvik’s strong safety values. Their modern mobile jaw crusher adds to these environmental credentials and is designed to deliver results on the most difficult material with the utmost safety in mind. It is fitted with a hydraulically adjustable jaw setting to maximize output, a reverse crushing action to relieve sticky material or blockages and a hydraulic drive enabling the crusher to start under load – the engineering behind the QJ341 means uptime is maximized.
Furthermore, the QJ341 is equipped with Sandvik Optitooth™ jaw plates as standard. Sandvik Optitooth™ are longer lasting and offer a 15% fuel saving, all contributing to improved productivity and lower operating costs.
Making business mobile
Recycling hardcore and concrete on-site meant that they needed a crusher which was agile enough to move around with projects, and guarantee delivery of output 6F2 material type. Upgrading their existing QJ341 mobile crusher offered Balicrest peace of mind that they were up to speed with Sandvik’s latest offering. Fitted with Sandvik My Fleet as standard, this remote monitoring system has been purpose developed to help Balicrest know how to best utilize their plant. Through the collection of a wide array of parameters, this facilitates accurate production forecasting, ensuring that the most efficient use is obtained from their equipment, and therefore keeping their operation up and running longer.
Balicrest’s fleet is all under 4 years old. Sandvik mobile crushers and screens have proven a good investment for the company hence seeing the value in upgrading to a new machine. When asked why they decided to choose Sandvik over the competition, Balicrest stated, ‘good brand’ with ‘excellent back-up and service’. Their commitment to using Sandvik crushers is a testament to the reliability, quality and high uptime that a Sandvik mobile crusher offers customers.
