A LIBS-XRF drill core scanner prototype was developed through a collaboration between Avaatech and SPECTRAL Industries. This core scanner was tested on a drill core sample of a polymetallic sulphide ore originating from the historic Reiche Zeche mine in Freiberg, Germany.
