WalkTEM™ is a transient electromagnetic (TEM or time domain electromagnetic TDEM) system designed for surveys in the geologic near-surface. Applications include groundwater and salinity studies, civil engineering, mineral exploration, geotechnical and environmental investigations.

ABEM WalkTEM system shares its transient electromagnetic technological framework with the industry-validated airborne SkyTEM system, originally developed by Aarhus University in Denmark, and is the most advanced technology in its class available on the market.

The ABEM WalkTEM was released in 2012 and ABEM has shipped the new unit to customers worldwide.
