SYSPRO Software was named the winner of a Gold Stevie® Award in the Supply Chain Management Solution category at the second annual Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards today.

The Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards is the only business awards programme to recognise achievement in the workplace in all 22 nations of the Asia-Pacific region. The Stevie Awards is widely considered to be the world’s premier business award, conferring recognition for achievement in programmes such as The International Business Awards for more than a decade.

Nicknamed The Stevies for the Greek word for ‘crowned’, the awards will be presented to winners at a gala banquet at the InterContinental Hotel in Shanghai, China on 5 June.

More than 400 nominations from organisations across the Asia-Pacific region were considered this year in categories such as Company of the Year, Executive of the Year, and Website of the Year.

SYSPRO Software won in the Supply Chain Management Solution category.

SYSPRO CEO for the Asia Pacific region Shaun Butler said: "This award belongs to everybody at SYSPRO Software that has worked with great diligence and commitment to understand the needs and expectations of our Asia Pacific customers.

"Managing highly complex projects and supply demands, whilst maintaining technical performance were fundamental to meeting those expectations.

"I would also like to congratulate the other businesses who have won Stevie awards in 2015."

Gold, silver and bronze Stevie Award winners were selected by more than 50 executives worldwide who participated in first-round judging in March and April. A second international panel of judges will choose Grand Stevie winners from among the gold winners, in May. Grand Stevie winners will be announced at the 5 June banquet in Shanghai.

Stevie Awards president and founder Michael Gallagher said: "We look forward to celebrating this year’s excellent group of Stevie Award winners in Shanghai on 5 June.

"We extend our warmest congratulations to all of this year’s gold, silver and bronze Stevie Award winners."
