MinLog is pleased to announce it has secured its first project with leading global mining contractor Thiess Mining, to participate in a first off, in-pit pre-treatment plant coal recovery project by implementing its market leading MineSuite InfoManager MIS solution.

InfoManager will enhance the overall performance and management as it relates to tracking the coal, monitoring, recovery and calculating coal losses as they occur from the face via the mobile plant and to the Coal Handling and Processing Plant (CHPP).

The aim of the initiative is to improve coal yield delivered to their ROM stockpiles at the CHPP plant as well as to monitor and reporting on the in-pit pre-treatment jigging plant, that treat the upper and lower interface of the coal seam coal prior to delivery to the current Coal Handling and Processing Plant (CHPP).

The MineSuite InfoManager implementation will provide the necessary tools for automated data acquisition, manual data entry, data validation, event and process modelling, data storage, as well as reporting and analysis. It will also have the ability to interface with, Mapteks Vulcan and BlastLogic offerings, as well as with a Thiess Load and Haul database.
