Colibrys (Switzerland) has announced signing a distribution agreement with IMCA Elektronik for the distribution of its MEMS accelerometers in Turkey.
Colibrys continues its worldwide expansion strategy by selecting IMCA as its distributor in Turkey. Turkey is actively investing in developing its own indigenous technology capabilities and sources, especially in the mil /aerospace and seismic instrumentation markets and as such presents a real opportunity for sale of inertial, vibration and seismic accelerometers. With already many years of experience in the mil / aerospace and industrial markets and a well-established customer database, IMCA is an ideal partner for Colibrys.
“We see increasing demands from Turkey for motion sensors dedicated to mil / aerospace and for seismic sensors for applications such as earthquake monitoring and structure health monitoring. Partnering with IMCA is the best solution to offer our customers a local source of supply with a responsive and proactive knowledgeable technical support,” says Bahram Arbab, sales director Europe and Asia at Colibrys.
“Our partnership with Colibrys will provide us the opportunity to offer high-precision Swiss manufactured state-of-the-art motion sensors, thus guaranteeing our customers independent sourcing and radical improvement of performance. Reliability resulting from latest MEMS technology developments will also allow our customers to compete more aggressively in their key respective markets applications,” commented Cemal Alpay, managing director of IMCA Elektronik.
