Tom Holcombe, a mechanical engineer, recently joined Scheerer Bearing Corporation as their southeast regional sales manager, bringing with him 15 years of experience in technical sales and support as well as proactive business development. Tom will be responsible for spearheading sales in Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Florida.
"Tom is bringing a new energy to the southeast region coupled with strategic planning expertise. We are fortunate to have him as part of the Scheerer Bearing team," said George Rymar, CEO of Scheerer Bearing. 2012 was a year of substantial growth for Scheerer Bearing, and Rymar is pleased to be beginning 2013 with a new addition to the Scheerer team.
Tom’s previous experience includes technical sales positions at Magnadrive, The Falk Corporation/United Technologies Corporation, and Rexroth Star/Bosch. Tom has a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from Clemson University, is currently enrolled in a leadership development program, and is a resident of Summerfield, NC.
