Turkey accounts for 2% of global production, with the other largest producers being China (43%), Australia (10%), the US (7%) and Mexico (6%). Exports of lead from Turkey declined by 12.2% to 137kt in 2022 over 2021, with the highest share being exported to China. Turkey’s lead exports are expected to grow at a CAGR of 1% between 2022 and 2026, to 145kt by 2026.
