Canada accounts for 1% of global production, with the other largest producers being China (68%), Mozambique (14%), Brazil (5%) and Madagascar (5%). Exports of graphite from Canada declined by 2.39% to 12kt in 2022 over 2021, with the highest share being exported to the US. Canada’s graphite exports are expected to grow at a CAGR of 9% between 2022 and 2026, to 17kt by 2026.
