The IFAT exhibition, which has become the most important European event for REDWAVE and took place in Munich at the beginning of May, was first held in 1966 with 147 exhibitors and around 10,000 visitors.

On our stand, REDWAVE presented the new REDWAVE 2i – the new intelligent type of sorting technology, which aroused great interest among exhibition visitors. Equipped with interactive ‘intelligence’, this evolution in advanced communication between man, machine and computer provides the ability to monitor, control, analyse and optimise performance in real time anytime and anywhere in the world. Visitors had the opportunity to get to know the machine, the functionality and the new features of a REDWAVE 2i 3D model with options for interaction.

Since then, the numbers have increased and there is now just under 15 times the number of visitors annually. With the exhibition programme on offer, this trade fair now provides the world‘s greatest wealth of innovations and solutions in the environmental technology sector. More than 142,000 trade visitors from over 160 countries came to Munich from 14 to 18 May 2018. Within this, IFAT mainly increased international attendance. Among the strongest winners are Japan, Russia, Australia, China and Slovenia. In total, 3,305 exhibitors from 58 countries presented their products and innovations for the booming environmental industry.
