Project, concept and feasibility studies for mining sites

Xenith’s consultants perform mine feasibility studies, which focus on geology, geostatistics, mine engineering, process engineering, geotechnical, environment, infrastructure, costing and mineral economics to produce a concise, cohesive study for the client.

Our wide range of feasibility, pre-feasibility and concept studies include mining method assessment, equipment selection, underground mine design and scheduling, due diligence studies, truck haulage analysis, and mine services and infrastructure design.

We also perform final landform design and rehabilitation planning, open pit mine optimisation, design and scheduling, formulation and implementation of planning systems and processes, mine closure planning, business analysis and strategic planning.

Resource evaluation and geological modelling solutions

Xenith has a highly motivated and experienced team of resource geologists in all offices. Our resource development team has completed numerous resource estimates to the various reporting codes (including JORC), with an established reputation as coal specialists.

We have combined state-of-the-art modelling software and tools with prior experience in most of the world’s major coal regions. Previous projects include sites in Australia, USA, Indonesia, Mongolia, Pakistan, South Africa and Mozambique.

Our team offers expertise in asset valuations (to VALMIN Code), conceptual mining studies, database builds and management, geological modelling, public reports and resource estimation.

Operations planning, mine design and scheduling services
