Icom America is attending the 2016 EAA AirVenture Oshkosh, 25-31 July. The two-way radio manufacturer will be showcasing its complete line of handheld, panel mount, and mobile aviation transceivers in Booths 2027 and 2028.

Products on display in the booth will include the A220 panel mount VHF Air Band Transceiver, now TSO Approved. The A220 employs a bright white organic light-emitting diode (OLED) display with a wide 170-degree viewing angle. This feature, combined with a white key backlight and automatic dimmer function, provides easy readability for day and nighttime operation. The A220 also features an automatic squelch function, GPS memory function (external GPS receiver required), intercom, and a D-SUB 25-pin industry connector for easy installation.

Known as ‘The World’s Greatest Aviation Celebration,’ this year’s AirVenture will welcome Icom and over 800 commercial exhibitors. In years past, the Experimental Aircraft Association’s event has accommodated over 500,000 attendees and 10,000+ aircraft through Oshkosh’s Wittman Regional Airport.

Watch for Icom equipment throughout the airport connecting volunteers and flight line communication with 125 radios in action including handheld radios, base station, and panel mount radios. This is all part of Icom’s continuing commitment to support the EAA and AirVenture Oshkosh.
