uvex sportstyle

The uvex sportstyle is built around a light, low-profile frame. Supplied in a broad offering of uvex supravision lens coatings, ensuring there’s a solution for every environment.

uvex sportstyle – lightweight, all-day comfort

Where the cx2 leads on coverage, the sportstyle leads on weight. It is an exceptionally light frame at around 23 grams, so there is less pressure on the nose and ears across a full shift, which is often what decides whether eyewear is worn all day or pushed up out of the way.

The styling is deliberately sporty and low-profile: an alternative to the classic safety look that teams are more likely to reach for and keep on. Comfort and a light touch are the family’s signature, making it a natural choice for long-wear roles and for anyone looking to not be restricted by their eyewear.

uvex sportstyle: At a glance

  • Very light frame (around 23 grams) for long-wear comfort
  • Sporty, low-profile styling that encourages consistent wear
  • Slim, modern silhouette
  • UV400 protection as standard; certified to AS/NZS 1337.1

uvex supravision – a coating for every environment

The lens coating is where fogging, scratches and smears are actually dealt with — and both families can be specified across the uvex supravision range, so the coating is chosen for the environment rather than fixed to the frame.

  • uvex supravision excellence (the standard): permanent anti-fog on the inside of the lens and anti-scratch on the outside. The all-round everyday coating.
  • uvex supravision THS: high-performance anti-fog on both lens surfaces, for humid areas, temperature swings, and wearing under other PPE, where fogging is the main problem.
  • uvex supravision sapphire: extreme scratch resistance with an easy-clean surface, for dusty, abrasive or high-cleaning environments where lens life and quick cleaning matter most.

The principle is simple: match the coating to the problem. General duty is covered by supravision excellence; persistent fogging points to THS; heavy abrasion and frequent cleaning point to sapphire.

A note on maintenance: Coatings extend a lens’s working life, but damaged eyewear still needs replacing once vision is affected or impact has occurred, and correct cleaning, storage and inspection are crucial.

Why choose uvex

The details of eyewear design are worth the attention. Across the pheos cx2 and sportstyle, workers and businesses get a genuine choice grounded in real-world needs, each paired with a supravision coating matched to the environment. A wearer trial is the best way to decide, giving people the chance to weigh up fit, weight and coating performance during their everyday tasks.
