Copper One Resources has completed the first drill hole of its planned 10,000ft Phase 2 diamond drilling programme at the Majuba Hill Copper-Silver-Gold Project in Nevada’s Pershing County, US.
The company announced that hole MHB-39, the first of the campaign, was extended to a depth of 1,460ft, surpassing its original target of between 1,000 and 1,250ft.

The technical team decided to continue drilling due to ongoing silicification encountered at depth.
During drilling, visually identified native copper and copper oxides were observed in MHB-39.
These initial findings remain subject to laboratory assays to confirm metal concentrations, and the company stated that such visual indications are preliminary and do not establish grades or economic relevance.
At its conclusion, the hole intersected moderately silicified rhyolite containing stockwork tourmaline veinlets, as well as trace amounts of fine-grained pyrite and sphalerite.
Copper One president and CEO David Greenway said: “Completing MHB-39 beyond its originally planned depth provides our technical team with additional geological information as we advance Phase 2 at Majuba Hill.
“The secondary copper minerals observed in the hole and persistent silicification warrant further evaluation through detailed logging, sampling and analysis.
“With a programme of up to 10,000ft, we are working to better understand the distribution of mineralisation and alteration across our priority targets.”
The Phase 2 programme aims to drill using HQ/PQ diamond core drilling, focusing on systematic testing of identified priority targets at Majuba Hill.
Operations have been contracted to Evolve Exploration Nevada and employ a portable drilling rig with continuous two-shift operations planned.
The programme uses Evolve’s EVX Connect platform, allowing Copper One to receive live updates, digital reports and photographs of drill core in real time.
Till date, more than 95,000ft have been drilled at Majuba Hill across more than 100 drill holes.
Laboratory results from the company’s earlier 2026 Phase 1 drill programme remain under analysis.
In July 2026, the company reported high copper concentrations from underground sampling at the Majuba Hill.
