Torque Industries’ history began in Adelaide, South Australia, where it was founded as Torque Hydraulics in 1985, primarily supplying parts and components to the industry. The business has evolved and diversified over the years to include complete motion and control system designs, to build, supply, install, commission and maintenance / repair both in-house and on-site.
Solid business growth and greater diversity of services required larger premises, therefore in 2004 Torque Hydraulics relocated to its current 3,000m² head office in Athol Park, South Australia.
In 2008 Torque Hydraulics acquired Hydra-Pac Waste Systems, a specialist designer and manufacturer of vertical and horizontal baling equipment with over 30 years of industry experience. This was the formation of Torque Industries.
Torque Industries is the first tier distributors for Parker Hannifin, Sun Cartridge Valves, Sauer Danfoss and Larzep Hydraulic, and we also have access to Bosch Rexroth and Eaton Fluid Power.
We have been fortunate to develop great relationships with loyal customers ranging from individuals off the street to large corporations. We have designed and supplied turnkey solutions to all Australian states along with the US, India, UAE, Korea, Vietnam and Singapore.
Today, Torque Industries still continues to invest and diversify. We pride ourselves on providing a fully integrated business model to the industry. Sales-service solutions are our ‘total solutions’ for our customers.
