Larvotto Resources has announced the extension of high-grade gold-antimony-tungsten mineralisation at its Midas Gully site, part of the Metz Mining Centre (MMC) within the Hillgrove Antimony-Gold Project in New South Wales, Australia.
The MMC is integral to the planned underground operations at Hillgrove, offering significant potential for resource growth near the mine.
With production scheduled to start mid-year, ore mining has already begun on the Syndicate lode at the site.
The ongoing drilling has revealed a target area currently exceeding 700m in length and 350m in vertical extent, remaining open to the north-west and at depth.
The latest intercepts from hole BLK115 include a 13m section at 8.56 grams per tonne (g/t) gold equivalent from 253m.
Within this section, there is a 0.5m interval at 13.33g/t from 254m, and a 1.2m interval at 34.53g/t from 263.2m.
Recent findings from Midas in the north-west of the MMC reveal substantial extensions along the previously undrilled Midas and Coxes mineralised trends.
These targets are close to the current underground development at MMC.
Preliminary findings confirm that structural positions north of the cross-cutting Blacklode system have largely remained unexplored despite historical surface workings.
Larvotto has so far drilled eight holes at Midas, each intersecting high-grade mineralisation.
In parallel, induced polarisation surveying at Metz has identified a distinct resistivity and chargeability feature along an unexplored zone near the historic Coxes Reef.
This geophysical finding corresponds with mapped structures and old workings, enhancing confidence in the structural interpretation of mineralisation.
The anomaly remains open both laterally and at depth, suggesting potential for extending mineralised structures beyond tested areas.
Results for hole BLK117 are still pending, while drilling on BLK118, which intersects the Midas structure at around 302m, is in progress.
Further drilling will continue to assess both along-strike and down-dip extensions of Midas to refine geological understanding before resource definition.

In December 2025, the company announced that PYBAR Mining Services had arrived on-site and begun underground development at the Hillgrove project.
