The permitted drill platforms cover the target areas of Sancos West, Sancos Central and a large target area to the north-east of Sancos Central.

Santa Barbara will develop a drill plan for its next programme in the coming weeks.

Santa Barbara Resources’ president Chirstoph Lassl said that the ongoing interpretation of the recently completed geophysical survey will provide targets for the next drill programme.

The company expects to encounter high-grade gold mineralisation in feeder zones of the large high-sulphidation epithermal system present at Sancos in the next drill programme.
