Detonation Booster for Explosives

Cast primer or Booster is a high power explosive, made of a highly safe pentolite charge (a blend of TNT and PETN) for the initiation of blasting agents.
Its main purpose is to provide an energetic pulse high enough to rapidly achieve an optimum velocity of detonation of the explosive column.
The special plastic cartridge protects the explosive blend, to gain insensitivity to impact and friction as well as a higher resistance to water action present in boreholes.
The cast boosters are used to initiate rock blasting in open-pit and underground mining, quarries and civil works.
They are safe, reliable and functional explosives, with a plastic container that provides better water resistance properties, ideal for the most severe field conditions, and excellent shelf-life when properly stored.
