Zimbabwe accounts for 8% of global production, with the other largest producers being South Africa (73%), Russia (11%), Canada (3%) and the US (2%).
Leading producers of platinum in Zimbabwe are Impala Platinum and Anglo American. Impala Platinum's output was 432.73koz in 2021, up by 12% on 2020. Anglo American produced 89.02koz, an increase of 14% on the previous year.
