This year NETZSCH will present three product innovations at the ACHEMA expo in Frankfurt, Germany.

The NEMO® progressing cavity pump has been re-engineered to the ‘full service in place’ principle of the TORNADO® rotary lobe pump, and will be introduced with a maintenance-friendly design. The successful TORNADO® rotary lobe pump is now available in additional sizes; in addition, NETZSCH introduces the new screw pump NOTOS®, developed in Brazil.

ACHEMA Frankfurt 2015, Hall 8, Booth C27

NETZSCH is the first progressing cavity pump manufacturer that provides full access to all rotating parts of the pump; this establishes a benchmark on the market.

After the FSIP concept of the TORNADO® caused excitement in the technical world and among customers three years ago, the maintenance-friendly nature of the NEMO® pumps was also redefined.

NETZSCH defined the FSIP concept ‘full service in place’, allowing the user of the pump to conveniently open the pump cavity on site and dismantle all rotating parts, and simply install them again without having to remove the pump from the pipe assembly.

This concept has now also been realised for the progressing cavity pump. The rotor-stator unit can be simply lifted out after opening the newly designed inspection cover on the pump housing. This significantly reduces the maintenance time and effort for the installer.

The eagerly awaited smallest T.Proc® all-metal pump of the TORNADO® T2 family, used specifically for low-volume flow rates in the processing industry, has recently been developed and is now available. What’s more, the demand for larger flow rates in the environmental industry has not gone unheeded either. Up to 200 m³/h resp. 300m³/h can be conveyed with the new T.Envi® 08/200 and 06/300. One machine is already being used successfully at a sewage treatment plant in Hall, Austria.

Finally, NETZSCH presents a new development from Brazil from the Pomerode plant: The NOTOS® screw pump series. Completely new geometries ensure improved efficiency and increased pressure capacity. NETZSCH sets new standards with this design as well.
