Marston is pleased to announce that Carl Fessenden, consulting engineer, has recently joined the company. With more than 20 years of mining experience, Fessenden is a versatile, accomplished mining engineer with expertise in software systems, consulting and engineering services with an emphasis on mine design and scheduling.

Fessenden’s technical expertise includes ensuring detail and quality focused completion of mine feasibility studies, geological models, mine designs, scheduling and budgets. He has advanced technical skills in CAD software, geological modeling, analytical tools, mine design and production scheduling software.

Fessenden is a results-focused leader who demonstrates professionalism, integrity and dedication to excellence.

Fessenden worked for Marston in the 1990s and prior to re-joining Marston in 2010, he worked for Mincom as well as a freelance mining consultant. Fessenden’s work experience also includes working as an engineer at Rand Mines and Buffelsfontein Gold Mine, both located in South Africa.

Fessenden holds a mining engineering degree from the University of Utah and a management diploma from the University of South Africa. He will be based in Marston’s Lakewood, Colorado office.
