Adria Manufacture, a company specialized in the manufacture of power electrical equipment, is proud to announce, today, the signature of a major long-term contract to provide all electrical substations for the Voisey’s Bay expansion project of mining giant Vale.
“This order will create and maintain jobs, here in the area, and those jobs will be ensured for the next few years,” Jean-François Couillard, President and Chief of the Management of Adria Manufacture.
The contract, of a value of around $30m, between Vale and Adria will span three years and will support the mining giant in his underground expansion project of Voisey’s Bay mine site. Adria have been selected for the supply of portable electrical power equipment for the infrastructure of the two new underground mines for the Reid Brook and Eastern Deep deposits.
