Northern Ireland based manufacturer and supplier McQuaid Engineering will this week attend the largest M&T Expo ever held. It will take place in Sao Paulo, Brazil 2-6 June. By visiting one of the leading trade events of Latin America, McQuaid will have the chance to source and network with potential dealers and customers for their extensive range of attachments for the mining and construction industries.

Taking place at a time where the Brazilian market of heavy construction and mining equipment estimates strong growth over the next five years, McQuaid are confident of the potential that the Brazilian market has for business development. McQuaid’s marketing manager Amanda Armstrong said: “The M&T Expo is a focused event and is situated in a prime location that has expected growth and prospects within our target markets. It is an ideal opportunity that will enable us to establish relationships with key decision makers in Brazil, South America and on an international level.”

M&T EXPO 2009 is expected to be host to 42,000 foreign and local visitors and will gather some 350 exhibitors and 500 brands from over 25 countries. Joint organisers Alcantara Machado and Sobratema describe it as, “the best event in the sectors for doing business in all of Latin America”.

Later this month, McQuaid Engineering will also be exhibiting at the 13th International Exhibition for Latin American Mining, 15-19 June, Chile. Exponor 2009 will be held in the Porto International Fair, Antofagasta, north Chile, in the heart of the Chile mining belt. McQuaid representatives will be exhibiting their range of Rock Breaker Boom systems at Pavilion C – Stand 229a.
