McElroy, the world’s leading designer and manufacturer of thermoplastic fusion equipment, is pleased to announce that Chris Zenthoefer, the company’s Director of Digital Strategy, has been promoted to Vice President of Product Strategy.

“Since joining McElroy as Director of Digital Strategy, Chris has played a pivotal role in shaping our digital future,” said McElroy President and CEO Chip McElroy. “He has spearheaded the expansion of the DataLogger® and Vault™ platforms, introducing transformative features such as guided workflows, pressure visualization, and FusionGuide™ automation – innovations that have set new standards for efficiency and reliability in fusion operations.”

Most recently, Zenthoefer’s leadership drove the launch of McElroy’s Operator Profiles, a groundbreaking integration of training, credentials, and performance data that elevates industry standards and gives machine operators a single platform to store their machine and training credentials.

“While I am humbled and grateful for the recognition, none of this would be possible without significant contributions from McElroy’s product management and digital teams, along with integrative collaboration across the organization,” Zenthoefer said.

A Tulsa native, Zenthoefer graduated from the University of Tulsa with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a Marketing focus. Prior to his work at McElroy, Zenthoefer was the founder of ICEdot, a startup that designed technological products for outdoor enthusiasts.

In 2013, he was the recipient of the Fast Track Alumnus Award from the University of Tulsa Collins College of Business, and many of his products and innovations have been recognized with industry awards. He is also co-founder of Saint Francis Tulsa Tough, an annual three-day biking festival in Tulsa.

“Chris’s vision and entrepreneurial spirit, strengthened by a proven track record in product innovation before McElroy, have been instrumental in seamlessly connecting digital integration with customer experience,” Chip McElroy said. “As Vice President of Product Strategy, Chris’s leadership will once again be key to helping us better define and deliver our Go To Market strategies across our entire product portfolio.”

Zenthoefer noted the company’s commitment to providing product education and awareness of fusible solutions while continuing delivery of reliable equipment and support.

“McElroy and the segments we serve are poised for growth, and at the same time skilled labor presents a serious challenge to meet the opportunity,” he said. “Our investments into machine automation and the supporting product ecosystem are a direct response to this challenge, allowing reduced training times for new operators, increased productivity, and greater jobsite safety.”
