Black Cat Syndicate has awarded the contract for the development and production services of the underground mine at Majestic to Macmahon Underground.
The initial production target is set at 776 kilo tonnes (kt) with a gold grade of 3.2g/t, aiming to yield approximately 80,000 ounces (oz) of gold, of which around 63% is already classified as ore reserve, valued at $2,300/oz.
The company plans to initiate drilling from underground positions as soon as possible to expand the resources, which are currently limited by drilling and remain open at depth and along strike.
Additionally, Black Cat Syndicate is progressing with other service-related components for the new underground project, including the installation of long-term dewatering infrastructure and portal support.

“Majestic remains open at depth and along strike and underground drilling is planned to commence as soon as possible for both Resource extension and grade control. Developing Majestic underground marks another milestone as we deliver on our strategy of More Gold, Sooner.”
