With approx. 600 employees and approx. 25,000 square metres of work area, the group boasts a yearly turnover of approx 120 mill. €. All activities are coordinated in KNAPHEIDE GmbH Hydrauliksysteme's head office in Beckum (North-Rhine-Westphalia, Germany).

HOSE LINES AND ARMATURES

For decades, mining has increasingly used KNAPHEIDE hose lines (type "Bergin") and armatures and appreciates these products' robustness and longevity. Apart from this, even industry clients (construction machine manufacturing) today use our extensive product range.

Because of the market's high quality expectations, the company relies almost completely on in-house manufacturing. The production process is delegated to multiple KNAPHEIDE factories. Our company philosophy is "You can only have a constant influence on the quality of your products if you produce the most important things yourself."

The product range for mining mainly comprises:

• Hydraulic hose lines for underground use
• Armatures of all kinds, including patch cord items
• Multiple control lines (multi-mini)
• Complex hydraulic and electrohydraulical control systems and its components (valves, etc)

BECKUM MANUFACTURING CENTRE

Development and construction takes place in our engineering, sales, administrative and manufacturing centre in Beckum by our staff of highly qualified engineers and technicians using a modern 3D CAD program.

This way, clients' suggestions for solutions can be simulated online, which leads to extremely short development times for new products such as valves, valve blocks, piping systems and special hose lines.

CNC CENTRES

Production takes place on more than 35 modern CNC centres. The entire production process adheres to a quality surveillance system certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001. A high measure of precision, functionality and quality is thus guaranteed.

In our partner companies, hose and connection armatures with a daily output of up to 100,000 units or up to 20,000 hose lines of the nominal sizes DN 2 to DN 80 are manufactured in mass production.
