Finland-based Outotec will supply an iron ore pelletising plant to NLMK Novolipetsk Metallurgisk Kombinat for its Stary Oskol project in Moscow, Russia for €150m.
The company will provide engineering, procurement services – including process technology – and supply plant equipment.

Outotec will execute the project in cooperation with Siemens VAI and will also provide services during the installation and start-up of the plant.
The plant construction is expected to be completed in 2014 and initially produce about 6Mtpa of pellets.
