Orbit Garant Drilling has renewed a diamond core drilling services contract with Hope Bay Mining at the Hope Bay gold mining project in Nunavut, Canada.

The company, which was initially contracted for diamond core drilling services in 2008, will drill between 110,000 and 145,000m over the course of the new contract.

Orbit Garant will provide heli-portable drill rigs and personnel for an additional three years, commencing 1 January 2012, under the terms of the contract.

Hope Bay Mining is a subsidiary of Newmont Mining Corp.
