Prospect Ridge Resources has announced the initial assay results from the latest drilling campaign at its fully owned Camelot copper-gold project in the Cariboo mining district, British Columbia, Canada.
The company disclosed findings from hole CAM25-009, part of a series of ten holes drilled over a 21-day period targeting a 1.7km geochemical and geophysical trend.
The drilling programme, which totalled 2,034m across ten holes, aimed to explore historical copper-in-soil anomalies and related chargeability highs, in line with an alkalic porphyry model.
Initial assays received from hole CAM25-009 returned results of 0.1 grams per tonne (g/t) gold and 0.1% copper over a span of 156.6m from a depth of 23.4m.
This includes a subinterval of 7.5m yielding 0.2g/t gold and 0.3% copper.
The Echo target within CAM25-009, where these results were obtained, showed anomalies typically linked to disseminated sulphides in resistive host rock, possibly indicating potassic alteration or silicification, according to the alkalic porphyry model.
Visual core inspections and portable X-ray fluorescence spectrometer results for all ten holes were previously shared in December 2025 news releases.
A correlation between visual core observations and assay results was also noted, aligning mineralisation style with reported gold and copper grades.
Historical drill-hole LL22-001 was re-evaluated during this programme, having been originally drilled in the opposite direction to CAM25-009 with infill sampling completed as part of the recent efforts.
The company plans to release assay results for the remaining nine holes and additional data from hole LL22-001 in the coming weeks as exploration continues at the site, which had not seen drilling before this programme.
Prospect Ridge CEO Len Brownlie said: “Our initial shallow drilling into "blind" targets, identified by geophysical data under glacial till, has resulted in the discovery of an alkalic porphyry that is copper and gold bearing and has a large geophysical footprint.
“Copper mineralisation in hole CAM25-009 is associated with chargeability highs on the shoulder of a moderate magnetic anomaly, providing us with a newly recognised targeting criterion.”
In September 2025, Prospect Ridge acquired a 100% interest in the Camelot copper-gold project from Orogen Royalties.
