Stanmore Coal has completed a pre-feasibility study (PFS) on its Range project located in Surat Basin in Queensland, Australia.

The PFS has considered both owner mining and contractor mining options to produce 5Mtpa of export coal over a mine life of 26 years.

The study is followed by the conceptual mining study completed in 2010 and confirms the project’s technical and commercial viability.

Stanmore Coal is expecting to start coal production from the Range project in 2015.
