Switzerland-based mining company Nyrstar has selected Honeywell Process Solutions’ (HPS) production accounting and reconciliation software to improve performance across its mines.
Honeywell’s production accounting and reconciliation (PAR) software solution can be used to resolve material and energy balance problems in various industries.
The mining company will initially implement PAR at its site in Balen, Belgium, and has further plans to eventually expand it to its other sites worldwide.
HPS’s Advanced Solutions business vice-president Ali Raza said: "Successful metals companies, such as Nyrstar, demand innovative solutions that offer sustainable cost reduction and margin improvement.
"Honeywell production management technologies enable accurate estimates of metal inventory and a better understanding of plant performance, leading to improved market responsiveness."
The statistical data reconciliation software also helps production facilities report production and inventory information accurately.
