Nordex Explosives has signed an agreement with mining contractor Technica Mining for the supply of its products and blasting experience to Harte Gold’s wholly owned Sugar Zone property in Ontario, Canada.

Technica Mining is serving as a contractor for Harte Gold’s Sugar Zone deposit as part of an agreement signed in May.

Sugar Zone property is located 60km east of the Hemlo Gold Camp, and 25km north of White River off the Trans-Canada Highway.

The latest agreement will enable Nordex to further expand its footprint for its line of explosive products to customers in the mining industry.

Last month, Nordex signed a two-year supply agreement with Canada-based Alamos Gold for the supply of explosive products to its Young-Davidson Mine located in Matachewan, Ontario.

The underground gold mine is considered as a long life gold mine, the company said.

Founded in 1999, Technica Mining is a division of Technica Group and is an underground contractor having completed work in the Sudbury Basin and other locations.
