Yamana Gold has signed an agreement with the provincial Government of Catamarca, Argentina represented by the mining company Catamarca Mineria.

Yamana Gold has signed an agreement with the provincial Government of Catamarca, Argentina represented by the mining company Catamarca Mineria.

The agreement advances the previously announced memorandum of understanding, which set the groundwork for cooperation to consolidate vital mining projects and prospective properties in the province.

The properties Agua Rica property and the Cerro Atajo prospect will be consolidated to create the Catamarca mining district.

Reservoir Minerals has concluded the joint venture and shareholders agreement to explore and develop the Timok Project in Serbia with Freeport-McMoRan Exploration.

A 2015 budget of $18.7m has been approved by the board of directors of the Rakita to move the Timok Project forward toward the completion of a scoping study.

The five member board of directors of the JV company consist of three Freeport nominees and two nominees from Reservoir.

Millrock Resources has signed an agreement, through its wholly owned subsidiary Millrock Alaska to explore high-grade gold deposits in Alaska with a major gold mining company.

The agreement will see the company fund research and reconnaissance exploration efforts undertaken in accordance with a multi-phase programme designed by a technical committee.

As part of the agreement, the work will be focused on specific, defined, collaboration areas in Alaska.

Sonoro Metals has signed a letter of intent to acquire a 60% interest in Northern Empire's 7,840 acre Hilltop Gold project located south of Fairbanks, Alaska, US.

Northern Empire holds a 100% interest in the block of claims forming the Hilltop project within the broader Richardson Gold District.

The exploration stage gold project Hilltop is located 115km south-east of Fairbanks.

Alexandria Minerals and Murgor Resources have announced the completion of Murgor's previously-announced arrangement under the Canada Business Corporations Act.

The arrangement was approved by holders of Murgor common shares and Murgor stock options.

Under the arrangement, Alexandria acquired all of the Murgor Shares that are not already owned by it.
