Burnstone Ventures has received the necessary permits to conduct a drilling programme on the Tomichi copper moly project in south-central Colorado, US.
The 2011 / 2012 drilling programme will comprise of about 7,500m of drilling with a combination of confirmation, infill and step out holes.
With this programme, Burnstone aims to generate the data necessary for the preparation of a 43-101 compliant mineral resource.
The new drill core will be analysed for copper, molybdenum, gold, silver and a suite of associated elements through ICP.
Burnstone will also conduct a surface programme of geological mapping, geochemistry and geophysics to determine the limits of the mineralising system and to identify new target areas.
