Adroit Resources has signed an agreement with Forage Perfection for a 4,000m diamond drill contract at Little Pigeon Lake section prospect in northern Ontario, Canada.
Drilling is expected to begin on the 2.3 km strike length copper-gold-bearing quartz vein associated with a suspected copper-gold-silver mineralised porphyritic intrusion from 23 January 2012. The width of the vein varies between 0.8m and 5.0m.
The Red Vein 14,816ha property is located within the southern part of the Abitibi greenstone belt in the Shining Tree area of northern Ontario. The area has 30 VMS deposits over 200,000t of massive sulphide within 200km of the Red Vein property, including Kidd Creek in Timmins with 147,880,000t.
Larder Geophysics undertook an induced polarisation and mapping survey on 8.1km of freshly cut grid, which indicated the presence of numerous east-west-trending linear zones of elevated conductance associated with variable resistivity. Mapping has also confirmed several areas of pervasive silica-sericite alteration developed in close proximity to the IP survey responses.
A compilation report undertaken to review and integrate all geological, geophysical and geochemical data on Adroit’s Red Vein property has been completed. The findings have been used to assist in determining drill targets for copper-gold vein systems, and VMS base metal massive sulphide-type mineralisation.
Adroit Resources is a mineral exploration company that is currently exploring for gold, silver and antimony in central Italy and diamonds in the areas of Ontario, Canada.
