TraxIQ offers a forward-thinking approach to material handling.
It features a system-level design for scalable use in varied mining settings, incorporating modular vehicle structures, advanced energy management and autonomous control systems.
MMD’s Centre of Excellence in the Isle of Man, UK, is focused on the industrialisation and development of this solution, leveraging its global expertise in engineering, manufacturing and materials handling.
The company plans to collaborate with select industry partners for phased pilot deployment and validation in real-world operations.
MMD group managing director Martin Vorster said: “TraxIQ forms a core component of our intelligent movement portfolio. Our established global footprint and deep domain expertise in material handling and mining integration make us best placed to bring vision to the market.”
