Macmahon has announced that its subsidiary, Macmahon Underground, secured a two-year contract extension from Vault Minerals for mining services at the Daisy Milano Gold Mine in Western Australia (WA).
The extension, expected to bring in approximately $68.2m (A$98m) in revenue, will see Macmahon continue its operations at the site through to the end of October 2028.

Located around 50km south-east of Kalgoorlie in the state’s Eastern Goldfields region, the Daisy Milano Gold Mine is owned and operated by Vault Minerals.
Macmahon has been providing underground mining services at Daisy Milano since 2024.
Under the terms of the renewed contract, the company will continue to handle mine development, charging, and load and haul services.
The extension increases Macmahon’s secured order book.
The company stated that its financial guidance and capital expenditure budget for the 2027 financial year remain unchanged following the award.

Since 2012, Zenith Energy has been providing build, own and operate remote power to the mine.
Macmahon, which is listed on the Australian Securities Exchange, delivers a range of mining and civil infrastructure services across Australia, New Zealand and South East Asia.
The company’s portfolio includes surface mining, underground mining and civil projects for clients in the resources, public infrastructure and renewables sectors.
