Delta Lithium has signed binding farm-in JV agreements with Voltaic Strategic Resources (VSR) and Reach Resources (RRL), expanding its footprint in the Gascoyne region of Western Australia.

These agreements focus on tenements surrounding the Yinnetharra project area and come with an upfront cost of A$4.5m ($2.9m), granting Delta the right to earn up to an 80% equity position in three projects adjacent to its existing Yinnetharra Lithium Project.

The JV agreements enable Delta to progressively earn-in to the mineral rights of the projects through two-stage deals.

These agreements are strategic for Delta, allowing them to consolidate its presence in a region known for lithium prospectivity.

Under the agreement with VSR, Delta gains access to the Ti Tree Project area, which is situated to the south of Yinnetharra and near the Malinda Resource.

The tenement spans 243km² and is characterised by the Leake Spring mafic-sediment package, a geological setting similar to that of the Malinda Resource.

Meanwhile, the partnership with RRL includes the Morrissey Hill and Camel Hill project areas.

Morrissey Hill is located close to Malinda and the Jameson Prospect, while Camel Hill lies adjacent to the Ti Tree Project area.

Both areas, covering 170km², have shown strong lithium soil geochemical anomalies and historical mining activity, indicating significant lithium potential.

Delta Lithium managing director James Croser said: “Delta is pleased to enter this strategic collaboration concurrently with Voltaic Strategic Resources and Reach Resources, simultaneously gaining access to the expanded prospective stratigraphy in addition to our existing Yinnetharra tenure, that has already delivered an impressive maiden resource at Malinda.

“The combined land package significantly boosts the potential for a long-life lithium operation in the region.

“Both Voltaic and Reach shareholders are poised to directly benefit from Delta’s existing on-site presence at Yinnetharra and the expertise that our team will apply to our expanded footprint, starting immediately.”
