Critical Elements Lithium has released assay results and an operational update on its Phase 2 Summer 2026 exploration programme at the Rose West discovery site in Eeyou Istchee, Québec, Canada.
The company has conducted a 10,000m systematic drilling programme around the wholly owned Rose West site, aiming to expand the identified mineralised area.

Two drill rigs have been deployed as part of the programme, applying a 100m grid drilling approach to increase the known mineralised volume beyond current boundaries.
The objective is to extend the mineralised footprint to approximately 1,250 by 2,000m and to expand the lateral continuity of at least two additional pegmatite bodies.
Drilling results indicate an expansion of the Rose West mineralised footprint by an additional 300 by 300m.
The programme has increased lateral continuity at Pegmatites 2, 3, and 5, with thicknesses reported between 10 and 30m.
Pegmatite 5 has delivered substantial, laterally continuous intersections in the northern section of the Main Target Area.
A total of 11 holes were drilled, with assays completed for holes RW-26-35A, RW-26-51, RW-26-52, and RW-26-58.
Significant results reported include 1.89% lithium oxide and 161 ppm tantalum pentoxide over 27.35m in Pegmatite 3 in hole RW-26-35A, as well as intervals with grades exceeding 1% lithium oxide and up to 227 ppm tantalum pentoxide in other locations.
Critical Elements Lithium exploration director Kenneth Williamson said: “The Summer 2026 drilling programme continue to demonstrate the continuity of not just one, but several lithium- and tantalum-rich pegmatites.”
Rose West is located about 10km west of the Rose Lithium-Tantalum Project.
Initial 2024 drilling covered a 450 by 370m area, with the current mineralised footprint now expanded to 1,250 by 800m.
Recent activity led to the identification of three new spodumene-bearing pegmatite bodies.
The current drilling campaign has so far focused on the north-eastern part of the Main Target Area, totalling 2,073m across 11 holes targeting pegmatites 2, 3, and 5.
The programme aims to expand the mineralised footprint, confirm continuity of grade and thickness, and follow up on newly discovered pegmatites.
