Samarco dam disaster: dealing with the fallout of a tragedy

In 2015, a dam collapse at the Samarco iron ore mine in Brazil killed 19 people and devastated the Doce River valley. Three years on, a class action suit has been launched against BHP, which co-owns Samaco with Vale, claiming leadership failed to take action to prevent the disaster.
