According to HCM, the multi-camera around view monitor (AVM) and moving object detection (MOD) technology offers quality visibility, in addition to alerting operators to movement on job sites.

The AVM composes images from four exterior cameras and offers an overhead view of the machine’s surroundings in real-time.

The instrument panel is integrated with a monitor that displays the position of the machine and lines to assist parking.

"By analysing images of moving objects from four AVM cameras, MOD technology alerts the driver to any changes in the machine’s surroundings and improves safety."

HCM has developed an overhead-view monitor with Clarion for use in its dump trucks and mining excavators, based on the AVM technology.

By analysing images of moving objects from four AVM cameras, MOD technology alerts the driver to any changes in the machine’s surroundings and improves safety.

The vision of the operator of other trucks and machinery in the mines can also be improved with MOD technology.

HCM incorporates advanced technologies from other Hitachi Group companies and other industries in its own technologies, and creates products that have improved safety features.
