The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 56.67% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of the US’s mining industry during November 2021 over October 2021.
Nucor posted 34 IT jobs in November 2021 and registered a rise of 9.68% over the previous month, followed by Harsco with 30 jobs and a flat growth. Tronox with 13 IT jobs and RTI International Metals with 10 jobs, recorded a 225% growth and a 60% decrease, respectively, while Charter Manufacturing recorded a flat growth with 7 job postings during November 2021.
Junior Level job postings dominate in November 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 51.59%, up by 15.71% from October 2021. Mid Level positions with a 31.21% share, registered an increase of 28.95% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 17.2% share, up 42.11% over October 2021.
