The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 8.92% in October 2022 when compared with September 2022.

IT jobs claimed an 8.48% share in the company’s total hiring activity in October 2022, and recorded a 0.63% decline over the last three-month average share.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops ThyssenKrupp IT hiring in October 2022

Out of the total IT job titles posted by ThyssenKrupp, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 63.64% in October 2022, and a 17.65% drop over September 2022, while Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a share of 13.64% in October 2022, and registered growth of 50%. Computer and Information Analysts held a share of 9.09% in October 2022, a 66.67% drop from September 2022.

Europe drives IT hiring at ThyssenKrupp

Europe emerged as the leading region in the global mining IT hiring activity in October 2022 with a 72.73% share, which marked a 27.27% drop over the previous month.

North America stood next with 13.64%, registering a 50% month-on-month decline. Asia-Pacific was the third leading region with a 13.64% share and a 200% rise over September 2022.

Germany commanded a leading presence in the region’s mining industry IT hiring activity with a 54.55% share in October 2022, a 25% decline over September 2022. US featured next with a 13.64% share, down 50% over the previous month. India recorded a 13.64% share, an increase of 200% compared with September 2022.

Junior Level jobs lead ThyssenKrupp IT hiring activity in October 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 72.73%, down by 30.43% from September 2022. Mid Level positions with an 18.18% share, a growth of 33.33% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 9.09% share, down 33.33% over September 2022.
