The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 8.58% in November 2022 when compared with October 2022.
Out of the mining industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 7.36% share in November 2022, recording an increase of 1.11% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in India’s mining industry’s IT recruitment activity in November 2022
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 100% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of India’s mining industry in November 2022.
1) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations recorded a share of 25% in November 2022, registering a flat growth over the previous month.
2) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers claimed a 25% share, a decrease of 80% over the previous month.
3) Computer Support Specialists held a share of 25%, registering a flat growth from October 2022.
4) Database and Network Administrators and Architects captured a share of 25%, down 66.67% over the previous month.

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average flat growth share in the overall IT recruitment activity of India’s mining industry during November 2022 over October 2022.
Glencore posted 2 IT jobs in November 2022 and registered a flat growth over the previous month, followed by Norsk Hydro with 1 job and a 50% drop. Kinross Gold with 1 IT jobs, recorded a flat growth.
Junior Level job postings dominate in November 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 75%, down by 50% from October 2022. Mid Level positions with a 25% share, registered a decline of 66.67% compared with the previous month.
