Germany’s mining industry registered a 30.4% drop in IT hiring activity in September 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 22.83% in September 2021 when compared with August 2021.
Out of the mining industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 6.94% share in September 2021, recording a decrease of 1.44% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in Germany’s mining industry’s IT recruitment activity in September 2021
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 104.76% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Germany’s mining industry in September 2021.
1) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations recorded a share of 42.86% in September 2021, registering a 350% flat growth over the previous month.
2) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers claimed a 42.86% share, an increase of 125% over the previous month.
3) Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 14.29%, registering a 50% decline from August 2021.
4) Computer and Information Analysts captured a share of 4.76%, down 85.71% over the previous month.
Top five mining companies in Germany’s IT recruitment activity in September 2021
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average flat growth share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Germany’s mining industry during September 2021 over August 2021.
ThyssenKrupp posted 19 IT jobs in September 2021 and registered a rise of 72.73% over the previous month, followed by Heraeus with 2 jobs and a 71.43% drop. .
Junior Level job postings dominate in September 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 80.95%, up by 41.67% from August 2021. Entry Level positions with a 14.29% share, registered a decline of 50% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 4.76% share, flat growth over August 2021.
