Bharat Coking Coal announced a tender to hire Heavy Earth Moving Machinery (HEMM) for its Dhansar-Ena Colliery in Kusunda Area, in March 2015. Vendors can submit their bids until 13 April 2016.

The tender also covers the crushing of coal by portable crusher. The HEMM is used for the removal of overburden (OB), extraction and transportation of coal with fire fighting from different seams at patch-DE (Mega Project).

Client: BHP Billiton / Vendor: Thiess Pty Ltd – $160m

BHP Billiton awarded a $160m contract to Thiess Pty Ltd in August 2015 for the mining of nickel at Rocky’s Reward mine within Leinster mine complex, approximately 400km north of Kalgoorlie in Western Australia.

Thiess will provide turnkey mining services including mine planning, explosives, drill and blast services, overburden and ore mining, and overarching technical support.
