Exports of lead from Australia declined by 5.56% to 308kt in 2022 over 2021, with the highest share being exported to the Republic of Korea. Australia’s lead exports are expected to grow at a CAGR of 2% between 2022 and 2026, to 329kt by 2026.
Leading producers of lead in Australia are Glencore and South32. Glencore's output was 181.92kt in 2021, down by 14% on 2020. South32 produced 134.40kt, an increase of 19% on the previous year.
