Germany-based company ThyssenKrupp’s IT hiring rose 7.1% in August 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 13.94% in August 2021 when compared with July 2021.

IT jobs claimed a 10.17% share in the company’s total hiring activity in August 2021, and recorded a 0.01% decline over the last three-month average share.

Database and Network Administrators and Architects tops ThyssenKrupp IT hiring in August 2021

Out of the total IT job titles posted by ThyssenKrupp, Database and Network Administrators and Architects emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 50% in August 2021, and a 100% rise over July 2021, while Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers claimed a share of 41.67% in August 2021, and registered a decline of 72.97%. Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 8.33% in August 2021, a 33.33% drop from July 2021.

Europe drives IT hiring at ThyssenKrupp

Europe emerged as the leading region in the global mining IT hiring activity in August 2021 with a 79.17% share, which marked a 61.22% drop over the previous month.

North America stood next with 16.67%, registering a 300% month-on-month growth. Asia-Pacific was the third leading region with a 4.17% share and a 66.67% drop over July 2021.

Germany commanded a leading presence in the region’s mining industry IT hiring activity with a 45.83% share in August 2021, a 42.11% decline over July 2021. US featured next with a 12.5% share, up 200% over the previous month.

Junior Level jobs lead ThyssenKrupp IT hiring activity in August 2021

Junior Level jobs held a share of 79.17%, down by 52.5% from July 2021. Entry Level positions with a 16.67% share, a decline of 42.86% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 4.17% share, down 83.33% over July 2021.
