Occupational hygiene assessments

Occupational hygiene is the anticipation, recognition, evaluation, and control of hazards in the workplace, which may result in injury, illness, impairment or affect the wellbeing of workers or members of the community. OHMS Training provides specific Occupational Hygiene Training Association (OHTA) approved courses and strategies in multiple fields – certification awarded.

We deliver accredited training at the Foundation and Intermediate levels, at all other levels we can produce training as required, and tailor-made. With Certified Occupational Hygienists, as well as experts to provide training, our trainers are both qualified and have in field experience in all fields of the training delivered.

Hazmat and Asbestos management services

Asbestos management is the legislative duty to ensure the risk of exposure to asbestos is reduced, OHMS Hazmat provides a professional and comprehensive consultancy and delivery solution in all facets of this.

OHMS Hazmat ensures clients have the knowledge and expertise to effectively manage the risk of exposure to hazardous materials, including asbestos.

Our Hazmat team are certified in asbestos and the management of asbestos by having completed the BOHS training in asbestos relevant to their role.

We provide hazardous substance audits, a register of hazardous substances, and asbestos sampling, fibre air monitoring and surveying services, as well as related removal, management, and contamination issues.

  • Asbestos Surveys & Re-inspections

    The standard management survey is undertaken to locate as far as reasonably practicable, the presence and extent of any suspect ACMs in the building, which might be damaged or disturbed during normal occupancy.
