Volclay Under Construction

DRA, a specialist in coal mining and washing projects, is currently in the construction phase of the sand processing plant, designed for the Volclay 100tph chromite foundry.

Located in North West Province, the project belongs to specialty minerals producer, Amcol International. It is worth about R116 million with another R20 million from the client to cover the importation of capital equipment. The completion date is set for April 2010.
